Hon. Karlsson has been President of the European Parliamentary Forum on Population and Development (EPF) since April 2015, having previously been an EPF Executive Committee member. She is also Chairperson of the Swedish Parliamentary SRHR Intergroup and has been active on SRHR issues for many years.
Hon. Karlsson has been a member of the Swedish Parliament since 2006. Her political life has been dedicated the promotion of democracy and human rights. She is the group leader for the Moderate Party on European Union Affairs and also has responsibilities regarding political and civil affairs
